In honor of Women's History Month, we're teaming up with our new neighbors, DRIFT to invite you to come out and shop the new Spring 2016 collection from Rethreaded! Refreshments will be provided by the Jacksonville area National Organization for Women (NOW.)
Rethreaded is a 501(c)3 headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, with a mission to break the cycle of the sex trade by offering viable and creative work to those affected by the sex trade (i.e. prostitution, drug addiction and human trafficking). Rethreaded has directly helped 20 women locally though providing jobs in the Jacksonville, Florida, area. Globally, Rethreaded has positively impacted the lives of over 2,000 women through their import company.
The purpose of the Jacksonville Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) is to take action to bring women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now, exercising all privileges and responsibilities thereof in truly equal partnership with men. This includes, but is not limited to, equal rights and responsibilities in all aspects of citizenship, public service, employment, education and family life.
As a business owned and operated by women, these missions are very important to us. Help us wrap up Women's History Month with a bang; come sip, shop and celebrate some bad-ass ladies!
RSVP on DRIFT'S Facebook event page.
